Managing Partner – Labor and Employment Department

Education:

Law degree from the Universitat de Barcelona, 1995.

Languages:

Specialization and experience:

Over 20 years’ professional experience as a lawyer practicing labor and employment law and procedural labor law.
I am highly experienced in interim management projects for HR, as well as HR consultancy.

I like defending cases before the court and interacting with judges, although the world of business has always fascinated me as well. On many occasions, for both legal proceedings and offering business advice, I have opted to tackle issues in situ, at the client’s company. This has enabled me to get acquainted with the business world and the internal processes of different companies and sectors.

Moreover, certain periods of my professional career have afforded me the opportunity of carrying out managerial tasks for various clients, in my capacity as Interim Manager in the HR sector. This has enabled me to implement preventive law in the organizations where I have worked.

I have been collaborating with the media for a long time, also acting as a speaker at conferences, to share my knowledge and experience.

Associate Civil, Maritime and International Commerce Department

Education:

Law degree from the Universitat de Barcelona, 1995.
Master’s degree in International Business Law from ESADE

Languages:

  • Catalan: native language.
  • Castilian Spanish: native language.

Specialization and experience:

Maritime Law, Transport, International Commerce, and Customs

Legal consultation in the different areas of the transport business, port operations, logistics services, international purchases and sales, and foreign trade.

I defend and represent the interests of freight forwarders, common carriers/NVOCC, shipping agents, logistics operators, carriers, cargo agents, and import and export companies.

I am particularly passionate about this area of law, since it has its own specific regulations and jurisprudential doctrine, which are notably international in scope and combine the contractual relationships of different closely linked operators with international commerce and public law.

Commercial, Civil and Procedural Law

Legal advice on the drafting of commercial and civil contracts, and defending clients in the event of conflicts and contractual breaches. It is my vocation to defend my clients’ interests before the civil, commercial, and contentious-administrative courts, and I am highly experienced in doing so.

My main goal is to resolve disputes to avoid litigation. Indeed, as a professional lawyer, I readily rise to the challenge of studying and defending each individual case.

Should it become necessary to go to court, I have over 20 years’ experience successfully defending our clients under my belt.

I believe that ongoing, direct communication between client and lawyer is fundamental in creating a close, understanding relationship that enables us to reach the best possible solution.
